Privacy policy

Ticket Mela is an event registration and check-in platform. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it — in plain language, because that's how we prefer to be spoken to as well.

What we collect

• If you register for an event: the details the organizer's form asks for — typically your name, WhatsApp number, email address and the answers to the event's questions — plus your check-ins at the gate.
• If you organize events: your account details (name, email) and the content you create — event pages, forms, emails.
• Technically: the minimum needed to keep the service working — session cookies for signed-in organizers and standard server logs. No advertising trackers.

How we use it

• To run your registration: issuing passes, sending confirmation emails, gate check-in.
• To let the event's organizer manage their event — organizers see the registrations for their own events, and may contact you about that event and related ones they host.
• We never sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Who processes it

Your data lives with the infrastructure providers the platform is built on: Supabase (database, Singapore region), Vercel (hosting) and Resend (email delivery). Each acts as a processor for us and doesn't use your data for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Registration data is kept for the life of the event and the organizer's account, so organizers can welcome returning guests. Deleting is always available — see below.

Your choices

Write to us at tickets@ticketmela.in any time to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you. If your question is about a specific event's communications, the event's own contact (on its page and in its emails) is usually fastest.
